About the role#
As a Pharmacy Student at Sobeys, you will gain hands-on experience in pharmacy operations and patient care. This role supports your professional development as you work toward becoming a licensed Pharmacist. You will participate in daily pharmacy activities while maintaining high standards of service and accuracy.
What you'll do#
- Provide customer service and process transactions at the pharmacy counter.
- Handle prescription assembly, including data entry, receiving, and releasing orders.
- Promote pharmacy profile programs to patients.
- Assist with compounding, pill pack assembly, and filing prescriptions.
- Manage inventory by ordering and replenishing supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow company standards and protocols for all professional pharmacy activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Pharmacy program at a recognized institution.
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting.
- Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
