About the role#
Tipton Ridge Veterinary Medical Center offers a hands-on externship for veterinary students in Pulaski, Virginia. What you'll do#
- Provide high standard medical care to patients.

- Engage in a collaborative team culture.
- Gain practical experience through direct mentorship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an AVMA accredited veterinary school, pursuing a DVM or VMD degree.
- Interest in gaining experience with soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries.
- Interest in working with exotics and learning from a Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist.
