About the role#
VPT, Inc. is hiring an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. This position offers hands-on experience in both research and development and manufacturing environments. You will work alongside experienced engineers on power conversion solutions for avionics, military, space, and industrial applications. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Assist the engineering team with product development tasks.
- Interact with customers and suppliers on a regular basis.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Electrical Engineering program.
- Basic electronics experience.
- Ability to use oscilloscopes and other common electronics test equipment.
- Capacity to multi-task and complete assignments in a timely manner.
Location & details#
- Location: Blacksburg, Virginia.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $20 to $30 per hour.
- Employment for this role is through a staffing agency of the company's choosing.
