About the role#
This co-op position focuses on signal integrity test systems for high speed twinaxial cable assemblies. You will work directly with High Speed Electrical Test (HSET) equipment and support our global facilities. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role based in New Albany, Indiana.
What you'll do#
- Run HSET equipment and report your findings.
- Configure HSET setups for Samtec products.
- Design multilayer circuit boards to support HSET processes.
- Analyze test data to find root causes of failures.
- Manage your projects through our internal project management systems.
- Support global facilities that perform HSET.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Electrical Engineering program.
- At least 1 year of experience performing electrical diagnosis of systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with programming in languages such as Python, C, C++, Rust, or Java.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds from floor to waist.
- Ability to sit or stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes.
