    About the role#

    The Project Management Co-op Student reports to the Manager of Capital Projects within the Energy and Technical Services team. You will work alongside experienced project managers, engineers, and operations teams to support capital and operational projects. This position offers hands-on experience with heavy civil, mechanical, and chemical process infrastructure, as well as commercial buildings and wastewater treatment systems. This is a paid, full-time position.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist with project planning and scope development by gathering information from operations, engineering consultants, equipment suppliers, and contractors.
    • Support the preparation of project budgets, cost estimates, schedules, and business case documentation.
    • Manage procurement activities such as obtaining quotes, tracking material deliveries, and maintaining project records.
    • Conduct field visits to monitor project activities and gather information for project teams.
    • Support project documentation including drawings, specifications, change requests, permits, and regulatory approvals.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a 3rd or 4th year post-secondary program in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
