About the role#
Worthington Enterprises is hiring a Corporate Communications Intern for the summer of 2027. You will help maintain and grow the company brand for both internal and external audiences. This 12-week program includes a business-driven project that takes up about 80 percent of your time. You will present your final project to senior leadership at an intern graduation event. The remaining time focuses on on-the-job experience and professional development classes covering topics like business etiquette, interviewing, and presenting.
What you'll do#
- Complete a dedicated Corporate Communications project.
- Create content for digital platforms.
- Monitor media coverage and social media activity.
- Assist the Communications team with daily tasks.
- Engage with employees and external partners.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a sophomore or junior in a bachelor's degree program for Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Strong research and writing skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Experience with design and an interest in using artificial intelligence tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.

- Work Modality: Hybrid (minimum three days per week in the office).
