About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work with our Power and Energy team to gain hands-on experience in mechanical engineering. The program lasts 12 weeks, starting on May 17, 2027. You will work on-site in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering tasks to build your technical skills.
- Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.
- Help prepare final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
- Collect and maintain project documentation.
- Complete training on assigned tasks and follow company policies.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program for Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
- Graduation date of August 2027 or later.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office software, and spreadsheets.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow direction from project leadership.
