About the role#
As an AI Scientist Intern on the Computational Protein Design team, you will work with scientists and engineers to develop generative AI models for protein and antibody therapeutic design. You will contribute to machine learning models for biology and collaborate with experts in drug discovery and clinical research.
What you'll do#
- Develop and apply deep learning methods for protein or antibody structure, sequence, and property modeling.
- Implement and train models on GPUs using PyTorch.
- Contribute to research projects involving protein structure, sequence, or biophysical datasets.
- Participate in team discussions to generate ideas for advancing AI methodologies in computational protein design.
- Document findings and communicate progress to peers and mentors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MS or PhD program in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
- Extensive hands-on experience with deep learning methods and frameworks.
- Practical experience with PyTorch and training or inference of AI models on GPUs.
- Prior research experience demonstrated through publications or significant open source code authorship.

- Modality: On-site.
- Duration: 3 months.
- Status: Full-time and paid internship.
- Compensation: $10,000 to $15,000 per month depending on experience.
