About the role#
Youth Guidance offers internships designed to meet school requirements for practicum, capstone, or internship credits. What you'll do#
- Observe, co-facilitate, or lead group and individual sessions in schools.
- Conduct assessments on youth participating in programs.
- Provide family and crisis intervention when necessary.
- Complete weekly documentation and administrative tasks.
- Attend program staff development, required training, and committee meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an internship, practicum, or capstone course.
- Pursuit of a degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
