About the role#
This internship is a structured learning experience for students enrolled in accredited academic institutions. It focuses on behavioral healthcare and provides hands-on opportunities through clinical support, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient-centered service exposure. You will work under direct supervision to apply your training and develop new skills.
What you'll do#
- Engage in the program as a learning experience while cooperating with your supervisor.
- Assist staff with approved responsibilities that match your educational level and training.
- Communicate regularly with your supervisor to discuss your experience or address concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality guidelines at all times.
- Demonstrate punctuality, honesty, respect, and a cooperative attitude.
- Evaluate and share feedback about your internship experience.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a behavioral healthcare related educational track, such as Psychology, Public Health, Nursing, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Reliable transportation to and from the internship site.
- Ability to adhere to dress and behavior guidelines.
- Compliance with all policies and procedures of Lakeview Center, Inc.
- Participation in all structured activities and completion of all required documentation as directed.
