About the role#
Zipline is looking for an Accounting Intern to join our Finance team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on hands-on tasks that keep our global operations running. This role is designed for someone who wants to learn the building blocks of corporate accounting within a high-growth company.
What you'll do#
- Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support the monthly and quarterly financial close by compiling data and running reports.
- Learn how our finance systems work through data entry, analysis, and cleanup projects.
- Partner with country operations and manufacturing teams on fixed asset accounting, including tracking and capitalization.
- Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams to track transactions and improve processes.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least the second year of undergraduate studies in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to work with numbers.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- A genuine interest in Zipline's mission.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site internship based in South San Francisco, California.
- The term runs during Summer 2027.
- This position is paid at $34 per hour.
- Zipline does not provide work visa sponsorship for this role.
