About the role#
This is a part-time student worker position within the Software team. You will work directly with engineers and researchers on autonomous technology projects. This role is a contract position through a third-party vendor and is not a traditional internship. It is designed to complement your academic studies with ongoing, hands-on professional experience.
What you'll do#
- Manage Autonomy Software program planning and execution.
- Track and resolve cross-functional engineering dependencies.
- Drive the adoption of standard engineering processes.
- Enable engineering teams by managing program milestones and processes.
- Participate actively in core technical discussions and partner with engineering to deliver complex programs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.S. or M.S. program in Computer Science, AI, Robotics, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with modern AI developer tools like Claude and Cursor.
- Experience using Jira, Smartsheet, and Confluence for tracking and collaboration.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week, with 40 hours preferred.
- Ability to commit to a minimum six-month assignment.
- Adherence to company confidentiality requirements regarding proprietary information.
