About the role#
As a Tax Intern at ADKF, you will work in a team environment and interact with colleagues across various projects. You will receive onboarding and on-the-job training to help you gain exposure to a wide range of tax returns and industries. The firm aims for interns to reach a first-year staff level of knowledge by the end of the term. There may be an opportunity for a full-time permanent position once the internship concludes.
What you'll do#
- Prepare personal and business tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120s.
- Gain exposure to Trust returns, specifically Form 1041.
- Build your knowledge of tax law and compliance.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a senior or graduate student pursuing a CPA designation.
- You have completed a tax course.
- You are in your final semester of your degree plan.
- You have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (preferred).
- You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- You possess strong communication skills.
- VITA experience is a plus.
