    About the role#

    This is a Power Engineering Intern position based in Edmonton, Alberta. You will work within our hydrogen production facilities to gain hands-on experience with plant operations. This role involves a 12-hour rotating shift schedule to support our 24/7 operations.

    What you'll do#

    • Monitor and control hydrogen production processes, including steam systems, compressors, rotating equipment, and DCS operations.
    • Collaborate with Maintenance and Instrument/Electrical Technicians to keep equipment in good working order.
    • Perform equipment inspections and collect field readings.
    • Complete training programs covering Basic Safety, Water Treatment, Steam Methane Reforming, Pressure Swing Absorption, and Hydrogen Compression.
    • Receive guidance from our full-time operations and maintenance staff.

    What you'll need#

    • A minimum 3.0 GPA in the Power Engineer Technology Program.
    • Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
    • Strong focus on safety.
    • Good communication skills and digital literacy.
    • Ability to work well in a team environment.

    • Location: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
    • Work modality: On-site.
    • Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts.
    • Requirements: Must have reliable transportation to and from the site and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
