About the role#
This is a casual, rolling internship based on-site in Wilmington, Ohio. You will work on a rotation schedule to gain experience across the Component Repair and Overhaul and Aircraft Parts departments. This role offers an opportunity to learn about various aspects of the aviation industry while supporting key operational areas.
What you'll do#
- Perform general maintenance tasks to support the component repair process.
- Clean, paint, and sand parts following manuals and internal policies.
- Learn how to manage aircraft parts and the associated accountability processes.
- Provide support to several departments within the facility.
What you'll need#
- You must be a student referred from the Laurel Oaks Aviation Program.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Ability to work with cleaning agents.
- Ability to wear a respirator and safety gear required for painting.
- Must pass a drug test.
