About the role#
Albedo is hiring an Electrical Engineer intern for the Fall 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site at our headquarters in Broomfield, Colorado. You will join our engineering team to support the development and integration of spacecraft hardware.
What you'll do#
- Design, build, and integrate electrical ground support equipment, including test racks and harnessing.
- Support the design and execution of the flatsat testbed for hardware and software integration.
- Perform hands-on electrical assembly tasks such as soldering, crimping, connector assembly, cable routing, and harness inspection.
- Troubleshoot electrical hardware and test setups using standard lab equipment like digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and logic analyzers.
- Collaborate with electrical, software, systems, and integration engineers to move hardware from design through final testing.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.S. or M.S. program for Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.
- Strong attention to detail and an appreciation for high-quality workmanship and documentation.
- Experience building and troubleshooting electrical systems using common laboratory equipment.
- Hands-on experience with soldering, crimping, or electronics assembly is preferred.
- Must be a U.S. person as defined under 22 CFR 120.62.

- Compensation: $25 - $29 per hour.
