About the role#
We are looking for a Process Engineer intern to join our team in Princeton, Illinois for the summer of 2027. You will work under the guidance of our engineering staff to support process optimization, equipment troubleshooting, and various improvement projects. This is a full-time, paid internship designed to provide hands-on experience and a foundation for future career growth.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data and conduct experiments to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of engineering projects.
- Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues with process equipment.
- Create concepts and technical drawings using Creo or AutoCAD software.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and workflows.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to adapt quickly and maintain resiliency in a changing environment.
- An inquisitive nature with a desire to understand LCN products and business practices.
- Strong time management, active listening, and creative problem-solving skills.
