About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to join the Global Supply Management team at Allegion. You will gain hands-on experience in commodity management, supplier relationships, risk management, and digital transformation. You will work alongside industry experts on projects that impact strategic initiatives and business processes.
What you'll do#
- Learn about global supply management strategies, including New Product Development, Sourced Product, and Direct Material.
- Gain experience with procurement technologies like Oracle, SMART by GEP, and Power BI.
- Support supplier and external risk management by analyzing risk factors and developing mitigation strategies.
- Engage with diverse suppliers to understand the impact of Supplier Diversity programs on ESG goals and supply chain resilience.
- Lead projects both within the Global Supply Management team and across the company.
- Build foundational knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain, Management, International Business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated leadership and initiative through extracurricular activities, school projects, or work experience.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong time management and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Adaptability, resilience, and a desire to learn new skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Please note that sponsorship is not provided for this position.
