    About the role#

    This summer internship offers you the chance to own an individual project while supporting a finance team within our supply chain. You will work on areas such as Customer Fulfillment, Amazon Logistics, or Amazon Air. You will evaluate new business ideas and perform data-intensive analyses to drive improvements for our customers. This role provides direct exposure to senior leadership across multiple business functions.

    What you'll do#

    • Dive deep into data to support recommendations and drive resolution for your individual project.
    • Conduct financial analysis to identify capital investment requirements or cost reduction opportunities.
    • Partner with operational leadership and frontline associates to develop and enact process improvements.
    • Design and maintain reporting to help business partners take action.
    • Interpret and communicate project results and standard work outputs to Finance, Operations, and other department leaders.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently enrolled in a bachelor degree program in finance, economics, industrial engineering, accounting, supply chain management, operations and information systems, business administration, management, mathematics, or a related field.
    • Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
    • Understanding of basic business, accounting, and finance concepts.
    • Working knowledge of Excel and SQL.
    • At least 18 years of age.

    Location & details#

    • This is a 12-week, full-time summer internship.
    • You must be able to work 40 hours per week between May and September 2027.
    • The role is based in Seattle, Washington.
    • This position is on-site only. Remote work is not available.
    • We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
