    About the role#

    As a Software Development Engineer intern, you will own the lifecycle of your code from design to deployment. You will work on Robotics teams to solve complex problems that impact millions of customers. You will be matched with a manager and a mentor to guide your work on critical projects. This is a full-time position for the Fall 2026 term.

    What you'll do#

    • Design and develop software components that interact with fulfillment center technologies like robotics and computer vision.
    • Build and maintain resilient, scalable, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
    • Create scalable solutions using cloud-native architectures and microservices.
    • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
    • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues to maintain operational excellence.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
    • Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language, such as Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, or TypeScript.
    • Proficiency in data structure implementation, basic algorithm development, or object-oriented design principles.
    • Minimum age of 18 years.
    • At least one quarter, semester, or trimester of study remaining after the internship concludes.

    Location & details#

    • This is an on-site role. You will work up to 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday.
    • Available locations include North Reading, MA; Westboro, MA; Austin, TX; and Bellevue, WA.
    • This position is paid.
