About the role#
The Eagle Life Sales Intern supports our wholesaling teams by identifying regional opportunities and executing marketing campaigns for fixed and fixed index annuity products. This is a hands-on position where you will work alongside professionals to gain a practical understanding of the financial planning process. You will receive mentorship from department leaders and collaborate with fellow interns on a cross-functional project.
What you'll do#
- Shadow team members to learn essential job functions and product capabilities.
- Assist with illustration and pre-sale support requests.
- Perform advisor list segmentation and analyze data to identify sales opportunities.
- Help the Advanced Planning team with market research and collateral updates.
- Build relationships with Marketing, National Accounts, and Customer Excellence teams.
- Use software tools including Salesforce CRM, illustration software, and customer service databases.
- Present your findings and project accomplishments to key stakeholders.
- Complete an IA Life License study course and exam sponsored by the company.
What you'll need#
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a similar field.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to prioritize requests and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset and a high level of personal accountability.
