About the role#
This internship program offers undergraduate students the chance to work within the Controllership function at American Express. You will join the Finance organization to provide analysis and decision support. The program is designed to help you gain a comprehensive understanding of business needs while contributing to real projects.
What you'll do#
- Provide analysis and decision support to the Finance organization.
- Gather and analyze information from various sources to identify trends.
- Learn to articulate decisions clearly to gain buy-in from stakeholders.
- Develop your ability to tailor complex messages for different audiences.
- Participate in initiatives and support the Controllership organization as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time bachelor degree program with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Ability to analyze and manipulate large amounts of data.
- Strong work ethic and a motivated, self-starting attitude.
- Skill in building trust-based relationships with team members and business partners.
- Majors in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States without company visa sponsorship.
