About the role#
AmeriLife is looking for a Corporate Communications Intern to join our team in Clearwater. This role provides hands-on experience in employer branding, internal communications, and content creation. You will work alongside a collaborative team to help tell the story of our people, culture, and business. This is a paid, full-time internship that offers professional mentorship and the chance to own a dedicated capstone project focused on a real business opportunity.
What you'll do#
- Manage and create content for employer brand platforms like Glassdoor and Indeed.
- Write employee spotlight stories, intern experiences, and success profiles.
- Develop reports, presentations, and recommendations to support program adoption.
- Coordinate recurring communications for key stakeholder groups.
- Organize and maintain communication resources, materials, and inventories.
- Support the development of newsletters, announcements, and campaigns.
- Research trends to help strengthen our engagement and recruitment efforts.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Health, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Genuine interest in storytelling, corporate communications, and employee engagement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A curious mindset, creativity, and a desire to learn.
