About the role#
The Demand Planning team develops forecasts that guide inventory, supply chain, and business planning. This internship focuses on a key initiative to improve how the team analyzes and learns from new product forecasts. You will help build a centralized data library that captures historical insights, assumptions, and lessons learned. This work supports the team as they integrate machine learning and AI into their planning processes.
What you'll do#
- Build a centralized data library to store historical insights and business context.
- Partner with Demand Planning and Analytics teams to identify data trends and document findings.
- Analyze previous forecasts to identify factors that influenced performance.
- Organize and structure data inputs to support machine learning and AI-enabled planning tools.
- Develop reporting or visualization tools to support decision-making.
- Present recommendations to improve forecasting processes and data accessibility.
What you'll need#
- Completion of your junior year by the start of the internship.
- Anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and April 2028.
- Enrollment in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or Operations Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data.
- Experience creating dashboards, reports, or visualizations.
- Familiarity with analytical tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx.
- Experience using AI tools like Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude.
- Ability to summarize data and communicate findings to business audiences.

- Location: Ada, Michigan.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site Monday through Thursday, with remote work optional on Fridays.
- Employment: Full-time paid internship.
