About the role#
Apercen Partners LLC is hiring for an eight week Winter 2028 Tax Internship. This role provides a preview of the daily responsibilities of a full-time tax associate. You will work on tax compliance and consulting for ultra-high net worth families, including corporate executives and entrepreneurs.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, flow-through entities, fiduciaries, and gifts.
- Create tax work papers, extensions, estimates, and advice for clients.
- Research and analyze tax issues to support the preparation and delivery of returns.
- Work with team members to develop solutions for complex tax consulting matters.
- Maintain strict privacy and confidentiality standards for all client information.
- Perform engagement tasks under the oversight of senior staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics with an accounting concentration.
- Expected completion of 150 semester or 225 quarter units by December 2029 to meet CPA licensing requirements.
- Expectation to meet all state-specific CPA education requirements before starting full-time employment.
- Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems effectively.

- Term: Winter 2028.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $36 - $38 per hour.
