About the role#
Applied Materials is seeking an MBA intern for the summer of 2027. You will join our finance team in Santa Clara to support business segments through financial analytics and investment decision support. This internship includes training, social events, and opportunities to connect with senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Lead one or more projects that help the finance organization drive executive decisions on key business issues.
- Build financial models and perform ROI analysis, scenario planning, and portfolio prioritization.
- Assist with finance planning, reporting, and other departmental initiatives.
- Support the strategic direction of your group to execute on business unit and corporate priorities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA program with a graduation date in 2027.
- Four to seven years of prior work experience in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Practical experience using AI and Data Analytics to improve financial processes.
- Ability to work independently and within teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
