About the role#
Arconic is hiring a Cyber Security Intern to join our IT team in Pittsburgh. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship. You will work directly with our security professionals to learn how we protect our organization and manage our technical infrastructure.
What you'll do#
- Follow directives from cybersecurity leads and senior staff members.
- Support the daily operations of the cybersecurity team.
- Learn to manage the tools and security solutions used across the company.
- Work with senior team members to perform basic first-line threat assessment and response tasks.
- Assist our incident response, security awareness, and security engineering teams.
- Communicate project updates and technical information across various channels, including face-to-face, email, and messaging platforms.
What you'll need#
- Current progress toward a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a similar IS/IT field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- A basic understanding of algorithms, systems analysis, database concepts, and networking.
- You must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or a protected individual to access controlled technology required for this role.

- This position is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- The role is on-site at our Corporate Center.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
