About the role#
Entegris is looking for a Cyber Threat Analyst Co-Op to join the team in Chaska, Minnesota. This is a full-time, 6-month assignment for the Winter 2027 term. You will monitor and assess security threats to protect company infrastructure and data. This role focuses on improving our cyber defense posture through threat detection, response, and vulnerability management.
What you'll do#
- Monitor and assess security incidents, threats, and risks.
- Handle cyber incidents, document findings, and assist in remediation efforts.
- Develop processes and procedures for incident response.
- Conduct research on vulnerabilities and analyze threats.
- Build countermeasures in response to threats.
- Support vulnerability management activities.
- Help implement the Cyber Security Roadmap.
- Coordinate with other Security Analysts.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for co-op participation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Understanding of the cyber security threat landscape.
- An attacker mindset to help improve defense posture.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to partner with stakeholders.
- Prior internship or academic work in this area is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Chaska, Minnesota.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Duration: January through June 2027.
- This position is paid.
