About the role#
Entegris is seeking a Production Scheduler Co-Op for our Decatur, Texas site. This full-time, 6-month assignment begins in Winter 2027. You will support manufacturing operations by assisting with production scheduling, order prioritization, and capacity planning. This role is on-site and requires 40 hours of work per week, Monday through Friday.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules.
- Monitor production progress and update schedules based on changing priorities.
- Review open orders to help meet customer delivery commitments.
- Identify material shortages, capacity constraints, and other scheduling risks.
- Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate data within the ERP system.
- Track and report key performance indicators like Schedule Compliance and On-Time Shipment.
- Prepare reports and updates for production planning meetings.
- Analyze production data to recommend workflow and efficiency improvements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning and operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional manufacturing environment.
- High level of accuracy in data management and reporting.
- Familiarity with university requirements for co-op participation.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems, Power BI, or Microsoft Access is a plus.
- Previous project or internship experience in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain is preferred.
