About the role#
Entegris is seeking an R&D Co-Op to join our team in Franklin, Massachusetts for the Winter 2027 season. This is a full-time, 6-month assignment. You will work alongside experienced scientists and engineers to support the development and characterization of advanced adsorbent materials used in purification, filtration, and chemical separation. This role provides hands-on experience in laboratory-scale experimentation and product development.
What you'll do#
- Characterize adsorbent materials and help build a laboratory database.
- Conduct adsorption capacity studies for various contaminants and chemicals.
- Manage sample preparation, experimental execution, and documentation.
- Support the optimization of new adsorbent media through testing and performance assessment.
- Collaborate with R&D teams on technical reporting, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain safe laboratory practices at all times.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters program for Chemical Engineering or Material Science/Engineering.
- Strong skills in laboratory work and data analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and scientific data analysis software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for co-op participation.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January through June).
- Work Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: Paid position.
