About the role#
We are looking for a Financial Accounting Intern to join our Corporate Financial Accounting team in Pittsburgh. You will help us evaluate complex accounting issues, consolidate financial statements, and analyze results for our reporting entity and subsidiaries. This role provides an introduction to the monthly closing process, financial statement review, and policy management.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the preparation and review of external financial filings.
- Analyze monthly financial results and summarize your findings for senior management.
- Prepare ad hoc analysis to support various Corporate Financial Accounting projects.
- Maintain and update the Arconic accounting policy manual for use by financial and nonfinancial personnel.
- Manage ongoing relationships with staff across our Business Units and Resource Units.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited institution.
- You have an expected graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028.
- You maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- You are proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and the broader MS Office environment.
