About the role#
We are looking for a year-round Accounting Intern to join our finance department. This role offers the chance to gain practical experience across accounts payable, general ledger, and financial planning. You will work with various teams, including program finance, business management, and supply chain.
What you'll do#
- Reconcile vendor invoices.
- Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
- Assist with weekly and monthly forecasting.
- Provide support for budget and cost analysis.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising sophomore or junior pursuing a degree in accounting.
- Strong Excel skills, including VLookup, Pivot Tables, and formulas.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position based in Danbury, Connecticut.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role due to contract requirements. Visa sponsorship is not available.
- Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check, credit check, and drug screen.
