About the role#
This position provides bilingual writing support for students at Asbury Theological Seminary. You will work with clients at various stages of their writing process, helping them improve their work through individual or group sessions. This role is on-site in Wilmore, Kentucky.
What you'll do#
- Provide writing assistance in both English and Spanish.
- Lead workshops on a range of writing topics.
- Create and update digital and written resources for the Writing Center.
- Keep accurate records of your sessions and activities.
- Help the Director update the Writing Center handbook.
- Translate materials into Spanish for LITS staff.
- Attend ongoing training sessions.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current student at Asbury Theological Seminary.
- You must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with basic computer applications like Word and Excel.
- Ability to work with both PC and Mac systems.
