About the role#
AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for our Austin office. This is a paid, part-time position for the Summer 2027 term. Interns participate in our intern development initiative, which provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for career exploration through site visits and professional learning sessions.
What you'll do#
- Gather, log, and summarize field notes and data for technical projects.
- Establish and maintain records and files for technical documentation.
- Perform mathematical calculations.
- Complete routine drafting and CAD assignments.
- Assist in the preparation of graphic displays and presentation materials.
What you'll need#
- Completion of 90 hours toward a Civil Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship.
- Basic AutoCAD skills.
- Membership in a Student ASCE Chapter or similar organization is preferred.
Location & details#
- This role is located in Austin, Texas.
- This is an on-site position.
- Compensation is between $25 and $31 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
