About the role#
We are looking for a Human Resources Intern to join our team. This role provides hands-on experience in talent acquisition, onboarding, employee experience, and HR operations. You will work closely with HR leadership on projects that impact our employees and organizational effectiveness. This internship is designed to build a foundation for a career in Human Resources, with mentorship and exposure to industry practices.
What you'll do#
- Assist with recruitment tasks, such as posting positions, scheduling interviews, and candidate communication.
- Support onboarding by preparing materials, coordinating orientation, and tracking completion.
- Help with HR reporting, data validation, audits, and administrative processes to ensure accuracy.
- Support employee engagement, wellness, and culture-building initiatives.
- Maintain project plans and departmental trackers using systems like Asana.
- Create and update training resources, standard operating procedures, and internal documentation.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team while maintaining confidentiality.
What you'll need#
- Currently a rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, Management, or a related field.
- At least one year of work experience in a professional, administrative, customer service, or campus environment.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- Preferred: Prior internship, campus leadership, or project management experience, and familiarity with HRIS, applicant tracking, or project management software.
