About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Student Food Service Worker at Saint Anselm College. This is a rolling, part-time position designed to work around your class schedule. You will work three shifts per week, totaling 10 to 12 hours.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food properly by following temperature requirements and spoilage guidelines.
- Set up stations with entrees, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and utensils.
- Interact with guests in serving, retail, and dining areas.
- Greet guests, make eye contact, and follow service procedures.
- Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment according to rules and regulations.
What you'll need#
- A strong work ethic.
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and different departments.
- Professionalism when interacting with stakeholders, including customers, managers, and vendors.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Current enrollment as a student, specifically in Nutrition or related fields.
