About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Marketing Intern to support dining services at PennWest University Edinboro. This role focuses on social media, photography, and event coordination. You will work on-site at the Van Houten Marketplace to help promote dining programs and engage with the student community.
What you'll do#
- Create and schedule social media content to promote dining programs.
- Write captions, gather content, and assist with digital communications.
- Take photos of menu items, dining locations, and events for marketing materials.
- Manage and update the internal photo library.
- Help plan and run pop-up events by setting up signage, decorations, and materials.
- Interact with students during events to ensure successful execution.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor degree in Marketing.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Completed course work in marketing concepts and a basic understanding of marketing principles.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A professional, positive attitude and a willingness to participate in all levels of the organization.
- High energy and a readiness to handle hands-on work.
