About the role#
AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Student Food Service Worker at Mount St. Joseph University. This is a paid, on-site position for the weekend shift from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
What you'll do#
- Prepare hot and cold food items.
- Store food properly by following temperature and spoilage guidelines.
- Set up stations with entrees, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and utensils.
- Interact with guests in dining and retail areas using proper service procedures.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations according to regulatory rules.
- Manage multiple tasks at once while keeping up with the daily workflow.
What you'll need#
- A strong work ethic.
- Professional communication skills when working with team members, managers, and vendors.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
