About the role#
We are hiring a Marketing Intern to join our team at Oberlin College. This position offers a chance to participate in all aspects of our marketing department. You will assist managers and directors with projects, help plan events and promotions, and work alongside other departments. This is a paid, full-time role based on-site.
What you'll do#
- Assist the marketing team in executing their goals and daily operations.
- Help plan and coordinate promotions and various events.
- Conduct web research to support ongoing projects.
- Learn and apply graphic design skills through entry-level design tasks.
- Handle marketing administrative duties, including copying, collating, and binding.
- Engage with our company mission, vision, and core values.
- Collaborate with other departments on shared projects.
What you'll need#
- Junior or Senior status pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Completed course work in marketing concepts and a basic understanding of marketing principles.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with others.
- A professional, positive attitude and a willingness to handle hands-on tasks.
- High energy and motivation to contribute at all levels of the organization.
