About the role#
This summer internship is part of the Corporate Marketing team. You will support a strategic initiative to improve visibility into sales performance across key end-market verticals. You will use data analysis and customer segmentation to transform product-level sales data into business insights and build a framework for ongoing market reporting.
What you'll do#
- Consolidate and organize multiple years of product-level sales data into a clean, documented dataset.
- Partner with Marketing leadership to establish end-market vertical segmentation standards and taxonomy.
- Develop classification logic based on products and bills of materials to identify end-market verticals.
- Analyze sales, customer, and transaction data to identify trends and business opportunities.
- Conduct outreach with agency representatives and distributors to validate customer information.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations for leadership.
- Document methodologies, assumptions, data sources, and classification rules.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Develop recommendations to improve future data collection processes.
- Assist with other projects and duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current student with senior status pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Strategy, Market Research, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, and lookup functions.
- Experience with SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools.
- Ability to organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to integrity, accountability, and respect in all interactions.
- Understanding of applicable laws, policies, and regulations.
- Ability to successfully establish employment eligibility and complete background checks.
- Preferred: Experience building dashboards in Power BI or Tableau, prior internship or project work involving real-world data analysis, and exposure to B2B or industrial manufacturing environments.

- Location: North Andover, Massachusetts.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid (in-office Monday through Wednesday, remote Thursday and Friday).
- Employment: Full-time internship.
- Compensation: $21-$23 per hour.
