About the role#
We are looking for a Production Engineer Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time, on-site position is based in Blauvelt, New York. You will work within our manufacturing environment to support operational excellence and contribute to ongoing engineering projects.
What you'll do#
- Support Production Engineers with daily operational tasks and project execution.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Sustaining Engineering, and Production Supervisors.
- Design and develop tooling and fixturing solutions to improve production cell efficiency.
- Create and revise factory floor layouts to optimize workflow and space usage.
- Spend time on the factory floor engaging with operators to learn and support production.
- Analyze assembly cycle times to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Document the results of your implemented changes to track impact.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A strong sense of accountability and passion for engineering.
- Commitment to maintaining an inclusive, respectful, and honest work environment.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.
