About the role#
This internship offers students the chance to gain technical experience in the power generation industry. Interns work on projects related to steam turbines, gas turbines, gas engines, and generators. You will receive mentorship and training while contributing to real engineering challenges.
What you'll do#
- Perform design and analysis for core product lines.
- Develop and implement new design concepts and improvements.
- Collaborate with the drafting team to update technical drawings.
- Partner with manufacturing teams to solve production problems.
- Grow your technical expertise through hands-on assignments.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in Aerospace, Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- One to two semesters remaining before graduation.
- A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Strong analytical skills and a high degree of curiosity.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-oriented mindset.
- Self-motivation and a willingness to learn from others.

- Term: Winter 2027 (January to June).
- Modality: On-site.
- Locations: Greenville, South Carolina; Atlanta, Georgia; Schenectady, New York.
