About the role#
As a Video Production Intern, you will join the Marketing Communications team to support the full lifecycle of video content. You will work closely with the Senior Multimedia Producer to create, edit, and distribute content that educates customers on Watts products and solutions. This role offers hands-on experience in production, post-production, and digital strategy while supporting our presence on YouTube and other social media channels.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning, production, editing, and publishing of video content.
- Assist with on-site production activities, including camera operation, lighting setup, and audio recording in training and demonstration areas.
- Edit footage using Adobe Creative Suite to create engaging, on-brand content.
- Participate in creative brainstorming and video concept development sessions.
- Coordinate content review and approval processes with internal stakeholders.
- Assist with accessibility initiatives by creating transcripts, captions, and subtitles.
- Maintain project documentation and manage work tickets.
- Organize and manage video assets, project files, and production resources.
- Support the execution of video content strategies to increase engagement.
What you'll need#
- Current junior status pursuing a degree in Video Production, Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, Film, Multimedia, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to film and edit video content.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including video editing applications.
- Strong creative problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
- Commitment to integrity, respect, and accountability.
- Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, safety practices, and policies.
- Must successfully establish employment eligibility and complete background checks.
