About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring students for the Canadian Tax Services team in Montreal. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term starting in May. You will gain hands-on experience in tax compliance while working in a hybrid environment.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns for a variety of clients using your technical accounting knowledge.
- Assist with tax compliance projects and other assignments in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Build and maintain working relationships with clients by responding to their requests and suggestions.
- Communicate with team members to provide progress updates and resolve issues.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree or diploma with a focus in accounting.
- You have proven leadership skills and the ability to take initiative.
- You possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- You are committed to teamwork and providing quality client service.
- Proficiency in English is essential for drafting documents and communicating with English-speaking partners and clients.
