About the role#
The Business Insights Intern supports the Market Research and Business Analytics teams. You will help the company understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. This role provides exposure to competitive intelligence, product testing, and business reporting.
What you'll do#
- Monitor competitor performance, industry trends, and market developments in the coatings and building products sectors.
- Prepare executive-ready summaries, presentations, and reports regarding industry insights and business implications.
- Assist in the design, execution, and analysis of market research studies, surveys, and customer feedback programs.
- Coordinate product testing initiatives, including test design and data collection.
- Develop recurring and ad hoc reports to support Sales and Marketing teams.
- Analyze business performance metrics to provide insights for strategic initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Market Research, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated strength in oral and written communication, including the ability to write project briefs and business correspondence.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective relationships with colleagues.

- Location: Montvale, New Jersey.
- Term: Rolling.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
