    About the role#

    Bird Construction is seeking a Student Project Coordinator for a co-op position starting in September 2026. This role provides an opportunity to manage specific project areas while receiving guidance from a supervisor and technical mentor. The position is based in Regina, Saskatchewan.

    What you'll do#

    • Coordinate drawings and manage specific scopes of work or trades.
    • Review trade quotes and verify material quantities, hours, and rates.
    • Participate in project meetings and conduct deficiency walks to update logs.
    • Update project schedules and monitor manpower productivity.
    • Perform quantity takeoffs and verify site conditions against drawings.
    • Supervise sub-trade work and coordinate progress photos.
    • Issue warranties and produce as-built drawings.
    • Set up and maintain project record keeping.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Structural, or Industrial Engineering program.
    • A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
    • Ability to lead and operate in an environment where change happens frequently.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain positive professional relationships.
    • A sense of urgency and commitment to achieving project goals.
    • Residency or a valid work permit to work for Bird Construction.
    • Submission of a current transcript with your application.

    • Location: Regina, SK.
    • Term: Fall 2026 (4 or 8 months).
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Status: Paid, full-time position.
