About the role#
As an IT Help Desk Intern, you will be the primary contact for support calls across our end user environment. You will work from our Avon, Minnesota office to provide technical assistance and ensure our systems run smoothly for our project sites and internal teams.
What you'll do#
- Provide phone support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and software.
- Monitor the help desk email, phone line, and ticketing system.
- Log user tickets with detailed troubleshooting steps.
- Assist IT staff with deploying patches and software or OS updates.
- Help with user on-boarding and off-boarding, including Active Directory account setup and device configuration.
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the ticketing system.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a two-year post-secondary degree program in Information Technology or a related field.
- Previous experience using a ticketing system is preferred.

- This position is based on-site in Avon, Minnesota.
- This is a part-time, paid internship.
- We offer a rolling start date.
