About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site at a construction project location for 12 weeks. This role offers mentorship, a hiring bonus, and eligibility for overtime pay. We also provide lodging or housing reimbursement, along with mileage and drive time reimbursement.
What you'll do#
- Support the collection of daily production and safety data.
- Help coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers.
- Assist with project equipment management and inventory, including tools and materials.
- Attend weekly meetings with engineers, subcontractors, and owner representatives.
- Engage in field activities to gain experience with craft positions.
- Assist in preparing agendas for daily and monthly meetings.
- Develop relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, landowners, and team members.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a two-year or four-year degree in construction management, civil, electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
- Ability to relocate to the assigned construction project site for 12 weeks.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- A valid driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
- Comfort with exposure to dirt, heat, noise, dust, and a trailer office environment.
- Effective communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
