About the role#
This Winter 2027 internship places you within the Real Estate team in Toronto. You will gain exposure to both Real Estate Investment Banking and Real Estate Brokerage platforms. The program starts with a one-week training and orientation session. Throughout the term, you will work on various financial products, including mortgage financings, asset sales, mergers and acquisitions, and financial advisory. You will also have opportunities to network across business groups and receive guidance from mentors.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the preparation of pitches and presentations.
- Write and prepare portions of confidential information memorandums and other marketing materials.
- Create financial models using Excel and Argus Software to assist in property valuations.
- Read and summarize property leases and other legal documents.
- Support client relationships and business development tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program with a graduation date in Spring 2028, 2029, or 2030.
- Academic focus in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Business Administration.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including Microsoft Excel proficiency and potential experience with Argus Software.
- Outstanding academic achievement and peer recognition.
- Strong interpersonal skills for working in a demanding team environment.
- Prior experience in real estate appraisal, asset management, financial analysis, or investment brokerage is an asset.
