About the role#
This is a four-month internship role for Winter 2027 based in Toronto. You will join the Finance & Accounting group to support cyclical reporting processes, regulatory requirements, and management information systems. This position requires you to work on-site.
What you'll do#
- Support the production of financial, regulatory, and management reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
- Analyze data to provide financial and risk insights while ensuring accuracy across all reporting.
- Assist with internal and external audits, including Corporate and SOX compliance.
- Gather and format data into dashboards and reports to support business decisions.
- Participate in the design and implementation of core business processes.
- Apply the Risk Management Framework to ensure all activities align with bank policies and regulations.
- Propose new solutions and think creatively to improve existing accounting functions.
What you'll need#
- A post-secondary degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Typically 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and Power Apps.
- Advanced capabilities in presentation building and video editing.
- Experience improving processes and creating efficiencies.
- In-depth verbal and written communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
- UIPath experience is considered an asset.
